Gensler played an integral role in realizing this striking new home for one of the foremost collections of contemporary art. Because the design envisioned by design architect Diller Scofidio + Renfro included numerous complex solutions, Gensler’s role extended beyond the conventions of “executive architect” to help develop and realize the vision.

Gensler designed the interior of the Administration space.  The design had to either emulate the building’s organic curves or contrast with them entirely.  Gensler opted for contrast.  The design delivers an exceptional work environment that celebrates “the veil and the vault” concept and integrates the dynamic collection of contemporary art.
